In Spanish on and on top are used in much the same way as in English. En is used for on and encima is on top. En can also mean in, at, for, to, by and a few other things, depending on context and usage. Cima means peak or summit. Interestingly, sima in Spanish means gulf, chasm, abyss or cave, hmmm.
